West Ham fans on Twitter were delighted for Michail Antonio as he netted against bottom of the table Fulham to help the Hammers to a 2-0 victory.
Manuel Pellegrini selected the versatile Antonio to start up front at Craven Cottage alongside Javier Hernandez, and the pair dovetailed brilliantly to form a strong partnership against the floundering Fulham back four.
It took just 17 minutes for the in-form Robert Snodgrass to give the visitors the lead, as he curled in from the edge of the box, and just 12 minutes later Antonio got himself on the scoresheet with a calm and controlled finish in the 18-yard box.
Former Wigan & Fulham man, Jimmy Bullard recently showed that he’s still got it! Check out the video below..
The ex-Reading and Nottingham Forest man held the ball up brilliantly during the game and ran himself into the ground as the Hammers protected their first-half lead.
Antonio has come in for plenty of criticism from Hammers fans in the past year and he was linked with a move away from the London Stadium during the summer. However, Pellegrini has used him at right-back, right-midfield and now up front in recent weeks and the 28-year-old is beginning to change some opinions.
Check out the best of the reaction to his performance below.
