Vinicius is seen as a major transfer target for the Saudi Pro League, who are hoping to attract more high-profile players to the Middle East. The Brazil international has a contract with Real Madrid which runs until 2027 but it is thought extension talks have stalled in recent months, with the 25-year-old wanting to be made Los Blancos' best paid player.

According to , a five-year deal for Vinicius worth €1 billion (£866.7m/$1.1bn) has been taken off the table for now, though the interest could pick up again in the future. It's believed negotiations between the winger and Real Madrid will resume in 2026, with Vinicius previously declaring he intends to stay at the club to further cement his legacy at the Bernabeu.
