Arsenal’s Champions League journey came to an end this evening as they struggled to overcome a two goal deficit suffered in the first-leg of their last-16 tie with Bayern Munich.
Bayern’s record at the Allianz Arena is very impressive, which made Arsenal’s task just that little harder.
But there are a number of positives Arsene Wenger’s side can take from their defeat tonight. Here’s three of them…
1. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain appears to be adapting nicely his new-found central role in midfield…
2. They can now put all their efforts in to winning the FA Cup…
3. They didn’t disgrace themselves against a very dangerous and well organised Bayern side…
