The anti-violence commission said: "This serious incident against the integrity of the visiting team’s player caused the match to be stopped for several minutes. After what happened, the spectator and his friends displayed a joking and defiant attitude towards the player’s protests."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Ocampos spoke out in anger after the game, saying on : "Hopefully La Liga takes the incident seriously, like it does with racism… If this was to happen in women’s football, we know what can happen. I restrained myself because I have two daughters and I hope it does not happen to them in the future. I hope that the action that needs to be taken is taken and this does not stain an entire fanbase."
