Liverpool's preseason began on July 13 with a comfy 3-1 victory against Championship side Preston North End. A summer swing through Asia is currently underway July, with preseason clashes lined up in both Hong Kong and Japan.
Arne Slot's squad suffered a 2-4 defeat against AC Milan on July 26 at Hong Kong's brand-new Kai Tak Stadium. The Reds defeated J1 League outfit Yokohama F. Marinos 3-1 at Yokohama's Nissan Stadium on July 30, marking Liverpool's first pre-season stop in Japan.
Following the Anfield double-header victory against Athletic Club on August 4, Liverpool will now make the trip to Wembley for their FA Community Shield meeting against Crystal Palace on August 10.
