Inter Miami have signed former U.S. international and current Haiti star Fabrice "Fafa" Picault, according to a report.
The winger's contract with the Vancouver Whitecaps ran out at the end of 2024, a season in which he scored nine goals and recorded five assists in 1,675 minutes for the Western Conference side. Austin FC also was interested in Picault.
Picault, 33, is an MLS veteran who has played with FC Dallas, the Philadelphia Union, Nashville SC, the Houston Dynamo and most recently, the Whitecaps.

Miami have been active this offseason, selling winger Diego Gomez to Brighton in the English Premier League and trading Designated Player and striker Leonardo Campana to the New England Revolution. Picault will be a filler gap for both heading into 2025, but another high-profile attacking signing is likely to come.
Per the MLS Players Association, Picault had a base salary of $650,000 in 2024 with a guaranteed compensation of $670k. The winger will now sign a contract with Miami, and some restructuring will occur with his deal in South Beach.

Picault earned two caps with the U.S. men's national team, debuting under Jurgen Klinsmann, in an international friendly in 2016. His second appearance came under interim head coach Dave Sarachan in 2018.
In 2023, he used his one-time switch to represent the Haiti national team to compete in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. His grandfather, Henry, was a former professional – and was an ex-captain of the Haiti national team.
Since switching over to , Picault has recorded 14 appearances on the international stage.
