The ex-Manchester United star scored his 11th goal on Sunday as Marseille thrashed St Etienne 4-0 to progress to the round of 16 of the French Cup. Greenwood opened the scoring for his side before Adrien Rabiot doubled the lead before half-time. Luis Henrique and ex-Tottenham player Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg then two more goals after the break to seal a memorable win for the Ligue 1 giants.

With 11 goals in his first 16 games for the club across all competitions, Greenwood is now second only to Chelsea legend Didier Drogba who had scored 12 goals in his 16 appearances for Les Phoceens. After the game, the 23-year-old took to Instagram where he shared a message for the fans. Manchester United captain was one of many to like the post.
