Leeds United fans aren’t happy with the decision to sell Paudie O’Connor to Bradford City after the deal was announced on Tuesday evening.
The Irishman spent the back end of last season on loan at Valley Parade, but now the deal has been made permanent. This sees Gary Bowyer linking up with the defender again having worked with him during a separate spell with Blackpool previously.
Aged just 21, some Leeds supporters that have commented below clearly feel that selling the youngster was a premature decision as he has shown a decent amount of potential.
The Yorkshire outfit’s loss is Bradford’s gain and certain fans have stated what a good deal they have pulled of as one Twitter user said that he is “way too good for League Two.”
The Whites may live to regret this transfer, but O’Connor seemingly wasn’t in Marcelo Bielsa’s plans, and his development will now continue just down the road in the northern county.
