According to , United are exploring options to sign in-form Real Sociedad goalkeeper Remiro ahead of the 2024/25 season. The Premier League giants will look to negotiate the Spanish custodian's release clause, which is set at €70m (£60m).

Remiro has appeared in 33 La Liga games for his club in the current campaign where he managed to keep 13 clean sheets. In contrast, the Red Devils' first-choice goalkeeper Onana leaked 55 goals in 35 appearances in the Premier League as the club currently have a negative goal difference.
