AC Milan enjoyed a 3-1 win over Club Brugge in the Champions League on Tuesday, with Pulisic lighting up San Siro with the opening goal that came directly from a corner. The USMNT star is enjoying a stellar season with the Rossoneri and his latest effort means he now has 10 goal contributions in his last 10 games. It's also Pulisic's second Champions League goal in three matches this season for the Serie A side.

Pulisic admitted after the game that he was a little fortunate with his goal. He told reporters: "Today it was a bit of luck but it's still worth a goal. I'm very happy. I didn't try to do that but it was a good cross, I'll say that, and, after, a nice, nice goal but I wasn't trying that." Yet the Milan star has still attracted plenty of praise for his performance in the game and also throughout the season as he continues to impress in Serie A and for the national side. Former player and soccer analyst Mike Grella feels Pulisic is charting new territory for American players currently.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID ABOUT PULISIC
Grella told : "Our question was: will he be a starter in this team? What's it going to be like? He's the guy in the team. On Champions League nights, if you tell me know he's scoring from the corner flag, it's not a surprise to me anymore. Next week he'll score from halfway and then next week I don't know because he continues to move the bar for American football and American football players. Doing it on Champions League night for AC Milan is just crazy."
DID YOU KNOW?
Pulisic's goal against Club Brugge was just the second scored by a USMNT player from outside the box in the Champions League. Tyler Adams scored the first against Atletico Madrid back in 2020.
